| How do I wash and take care of my sheepskin footwear? |
Top |
 |
Please take a look at the
information in our "Measurements
and Care"
page.
| Are they waterproof when I receive them? |
Top |
 |
Our genuine sheepskin footwear is
resilient to the basic elements but if they do get very
wet you need to let them dry in a shaded area away from
the sun and rain. The outside of the sheepskin boot is a
soft leather and is not waterproofed when you receive
them, so they won’t withstand the harsh elements of
heavy rain and snow for very long. Buying a
waterproofing spray can help protect the boots from rain
and snow. Please see your local store and ask for a soft
leather waterproof spray.

| Do you sell the UGG Australia™ sheepskin boots |
Top |
 |
We get this
question regularly and the answer is NO! We sell
our own products, manufactured here in Melbourne,
Australia by our company, Binder Productions Pty Ltd. We
produce a brand of sheepskin footwear called "Jumbo Ugg"
and we are not affiliated to the US company that own
the UGG Australia brand - called Deckers. The word
Ug,Ugh,Ugg has been associated with a style (not
brand)of footwear for many years in Australia so you
will find many people advertising ug,ugg or ugh boots.
The word ugg is found in the Macquarie Dictionary. Most
of the UGG Australia™ production occurs in China and
not in Australia.
Do not be fooled! If you want genuine sheepskin,
ugg/ugh/ug boots buy the ones made here in
Australia!!!!!!!! To learn more visit

 |
All of our ugg boots have a label on the back of the

UGG BOOTS"

| Will my ugg boots be too warm for the summer? |
Top |
 |
The answer to that is a resounding "No. "
Ugg boots are made from the finest wool that has many wonderful properties - letting your feet breath is one of the major ones. And during summer, this means your feet are kept cool. Warm in winter and cool in summer.
Ugg boots are a very versatile piece of footwear. Here in Australia they’ll be worn with bikinis! Others wear their uggs with mini skirts, jeans or long skirts. They really are a boot for every occassion.
Take a look around your local shopping centre and you’ll notice the huge range of ways people wear their most comfortable shoe (or boot).
| What is the difference between the EVA sole and the Outdoor Rubber Sole? |
Top |
 |

EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) soles are the lightest of all the hard soles.
They are firmly attached to the uppers with a heat activated glue via a card
runner.
We tend to use the EVA sole for slippers and boots designed for mainly indoor
and light outdoor use. It is hard wearing and the front tapers to improve
flexibility.
This type of sole is very commonly used for sheepskin footwear.
We use this type of sole on our
Classic Range of ugg boots
For reliability of supply our manufacturer sources their EVA soles from two
suppliers. The tread pattern varies between them. They either have a basket
weave pattern or are ridged. Stock will consist of either but they both offer
the same qualities.
We
have chosen molded Rubber Lug outsole for our OUTDOOR range of
sheepskin boots
as they are flexible, strong and hard wearing.
They feature sidewall stitch construction for maximum durability. Toe and
heel are reinforced by double stitched cowhide bumpers for abrasion resistance.
Each color of boot has a matching sole. Sand color’s sole shown.
